Who can be involved?
Any woman associated with CBTS: faculty/staff wife, spouse of student, female student, alumni.
Who leads the Women of CBTS?
The Women of CBTS is "run" by a team consisting of five student-wife volunteers and two faculty wives. The team meets monthly to plan, develop, and evaluate events
Will I be mentored?
All Women of CBTS are divided into 6 small groups with a diffferent CBTS faculty/staff wife heading each group. These small groups meet at the end of every Women of CBTS event as well as socially throughout the year for fellowship and encouragement.
How often do you have events?
Events occur monthly throughout the academic year.
Can I have a say in what we do?
Events are structured according to our purpose statement as well as the feed back obtained from the written evaluations that are filled out at each event expressing wants, needs and suggestions.
What are the events like?
Each event has a repeating structured program and agenda. While the basic structure is the same, we seek to have variety in each event to make them unique. Each event includes brunch and door prizes.
Where are events held?
Most events are held on the CBTS campus.
What days of the week do we have events?
We rotate between Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings. At least 1 event per semester is held at CBTS the home of someone on faculty/staff.
What about childcare?
Free childcare is provided at each event.
